You probably came across a network marketing company called Level Thrive and now you landed here to make sure their Thrive Patch actually does what it says right?
Thrive patch is a weight loss patch that is placed on your skin.
A lot of people are saying that it’s a “weight loss wonder”, but do the results actually speak for themselves?
In this post, I will be reviewing how the Thrive patch actually works and if it actually helps with weight loss…
What is Thrive Patch?
Level Thrive launched the Thrive Patch as of their 8 week Experience for improving both health and weight loss.
What makes the Thrive Patch special (according to Level Thrive), is it uses their innovative Derma Fusion Technology (DFT) to push the ingredients through the skin.
This can also be referred to as a wearable nutrition.
According to the Thrive Experience, it’s meant to benefit all areas of your life.
They say it’s hard to explain, you just have to experience it for yourself (I am paraphrasing here…)
How Does Thrive Patch Work?
Thrive Patch apparently delivers it’s “unique, premium grade, THRIVE lifestyle formula” through your skin.
If you decide to try this out…
You will have to connect with a Le-VEL promoter create a customer profile.
Once you are ready to rock, you can get on their eight-week premium lifestyle program, which includes taking their vitamins, minerals, plant extracts, enzymes, antioxidants, probiotics and amino acid capsules.
Plus, you have to get on their Level daily protein shake.

Finally you can put on your Thrive patch, which comes in different colors and designs.
All you have to do is clean the area, dry your skin and apply it.
You can put it on your bicep or around that area…
Keep the Thrive Patch on for at least 24 hours before putting on another one.
Thrive Patch Ingredients
Thrive Patch has the following six ingredients…
ForsLean is another name that is trade marked for a herb called Coleus forskohilii which is part of the mint family and a wild ancestor of the Kaffir potato.
This is very commonly used in India as a pickle condiment.
Some of the health benefits include reducing pain and information, improving skin issues and managing digestive disorders. (1)
When you check out the manufactures website, they apparently summarize a bunch of clinical studies of the herb from the USA, India and Japan.
Only thing is none of the three USA studies are cited. (2)
There was another study where they took 23 mildly overweight females and put them on 250mg of ForsLean twice a day for 12 weeks.
What they found was it didn’t really promote weight loss, but it slowed down weight gain. (3)
2. Green Coffee Bean Extract
This is a popular one and mainly due to the fact that Dr. Oz strongly endorsed this back in 2012.
Green coffee bean extract comes from a coffee bean that isn’t roasted which increases it’s chlorogenic acid content. (4)
There was a study on obese adults that took this product five times a day for 8 to 12 weeks and what they noticed was a mild weight loss compared to a placebo. (5)
Another 12 week study was done on 30 overweight people drinking instant coffee enriched with chlorogenic acid.
The enriched group lost an average of 11.88 pounds compared to 3.74 pounds without the enrichment. (6)
3. Garcinia Gambogia
Garcinia Gambogia is another very popular weight-loss compound that just blew up in the media like the Green Coffee Bean Extract.
This powerful extract comes from a tropical plant and contains a ton of hydroxycitric acid (HCA) which is thought to help burn fat and control appetite.
HCA really got popular due to a trendy controversial weight loss product called Hydroxycut. (7)
Rat studies should great potential with garcinia cambogia, but they couldn’t replicate that with human studies. (8)
But then again the best way to know is to test it yourself because everyone is different.
4. Coenzyme Q10
Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is a very powerful antioxidant that helps support energy product in the mitochondria of cells.
CoQ10 is produced naturally by the body, but is also found in supplements and foods like chicken, beef, herring, peanuts and broccoli.
Certain things like aging, trauma and any heart conditions can lower this.
It’s great to supplement CoQ10, but once you pass your natural product, there are no additional benefits (well at least there is no evidence) specially to support weight loss. (9)
5. White Willow Bark
White Willow Bark is a remedy that European and Chinese use to help relieve pain, headaches and other inflammatory conditions.
Active ingredient found in this bark is salicin which is very similar to acetylsalicylic acid found in aspirin.
Now this is great for pain relief, but there is no studies on this on weight loss.
Cosmoperine is another name for tetrahydropiperine which is made from black pepper.
I know that was a mouth full LOL.
According to Level Thrive, this ingredient is said to enhance the bioavailablity of nutrients and support the Thrive Patch’s DFT.
Also it helps with other ingredients (mainly for ForsLean).
Research Conclusion On DFT?
There is no research on Thrive Patch or it’s Derma Fusion Technology (DFT).
DFT is just a fancy way of saying transdermal technology.
This just means that ingredients are absorbed through the dermal layer or skin into the blood stream.
This type of delivery system dates back in the last 1970’s when the first transderm drugs were approved to relief motion sickness.
Think nicotine patches for smoking cravings.
Outside of Level Thrive, there is no research done on how all of these ingredients help each other for weight loss.
Thrive Patch Side effects
If you take a look at the level thrive website, the side effects are not clearly started.
However, third-party review sites have shown reports of nausea, skin irritation and muscle cramping.
What I did notice is many of the users didn’t experience weight loss and benefits from this product.
But then again, maybe they need to get their diet and exercise in check as well.
There is no miracle pill for that lol.

Overall, the best thing to do is actually test the Thrive weight loss patch for yourself and see how it works for you.
I noticed it doesn’t work for many, but maybe they are not following their program exactly.
