Thirty-One Gifts Review – Legit Business or Scam?
Welcome to my Thirty-One Gifts Review!
There has been some buzz about this company recently I decided to investigate…
You probably have questions like…
- Can you make money with this business?
- Is it just another recruitment scheme?
- How many hours do you have to put in?
In this post, I am going to put some of the rumors to rest and give you the truth.
We will go through the company, the products and compensation plan so you can make the right decision to join or not…
First, let’s take a look at the company…
Thirty-One Gifts Review – The Company
Thirty One Gifts is the brain child of Founder, President and CEO Cindy Monroe who started this company from her basement in 2003…
As of right now, they have over 90,000 independent sales consultants all over the U.S and Canada.
That’s pretty impressive lol.
Recently however, the company did go through some restructuring and closed their Ohio production facility this year…
This will effect about 74 jobs.
The company did initially say they will create as many as 500 jobs when they first opened that distribution center back in 2011.
They will also be closing their springfield and johnstown operations in 2016.
This will effect about 220 jobs.
Their Easton operations will continue as it is…
It sucks when a company has to downsize because I feel bad for those people who just lost their jobs, but business is business.
Anyway, I didn’t find any information on Cindy’s passed MLM history…
It could be Thirty-One gifts was her first venture.
Next, let’s take a look at their products…
Here is a picture of their website:
Thirty One Gifts Reviews – The Products
If you didn’t know this already, Thirty-One Gifts specializes in the women’s fasion niche.
The company makes anywhere between personal accessories, purses, organizer bags, thermals, Jewelry, wallets to homeware.
They have TONS of products so I couldn’t really list them here…
They do have full retail pricing on all of their items which is good.
There was a lawsuit in 2010 where Miche bag’s sued them for selling bags with interchangeable outer covers.
However, it was dismissed and Miche Bag had to pay Thirty-One Gifts $10,000 to cover legal costs.
Anyway, let’s take a look at the compensation plan next!
Thirty-One Gifts – The Compensation Plan
Like all network marketing companies, when you sponsor someone in the business who buys a product pack, you get paid commissions on it.
Here is a video overview on their compensation plan…
Note: I do NOT endorse this video, it’s for educational purposes only.
Overall, the compensation plan really pushes retail sales which is a good thing…
Cost To Join Thirty-One Gifts
The affiliate membership with Thirty-One gifts is $99…
Shipping and handling is extra.
Thirty-One Gifts Review – The Verdict
Overall, the company is great…
Great products and compensation plan to match.
I really don’t have any issues with it.
I would only look out for a few things.
- Do NOT buy a lot of products upfront because you might not able to sell them all.
- There will be a lot of seasonal items and changes so purchase items accordly.
- Check your local stores and see what kind of competition there is before you join Thirty-One Gifts.
