Welcome to my PartyLite review!

There has been a lot of buzz about this company so I decided to investigate what it was all about…

Chances are you were approached about the products and business opportunity and now you landed here to make sure this company is actually legit right?

The good news is I am going to walk you through the company, products and compensation plan so you can make the right decision…

I know there are some negative PartyLite reviews out there, but some people have a personal agenda…

I will review this company completely unbiased and third party so just pay close attention and read it to the end…

I do reveal shocking truths behind them.

PartyLite Review – The Company

PartyLite review

PartyLite is actually part of another company called Blyth, Inc, a decorative products manufacturer.

Back in 2001, Blyth was the largest candle-maker in the United States, which is pretty crazy.

In 2012, their revenue topped out at $1.179 billion, which is huge if you ask me.

PartyLite, the direct sales branch of Blyth, has been in that MLM space for many years…

Since 1973 to be exact!

Originally they opened shop in Massachusetts and was inspired by an age-old Cape Code candle recipe crafted by a school teacher back in 1909 (1).

If you look at Direct Selling news, it ranked them at #31 out of the top 100 revenue generating MLM’s in the world.

Their current president of the company, Martin Kohler has a ton of experience and has been with PartyLite for over 15 years.

Prior to PartyLite, he served for Blyth’s European branch for six years in total.

The awesome thing is that the European branch did so well that it’s the most important segment of their company.

Overall, they operate in over 24 countries and have over 45,000 sales consultants in those countries (2).

Now next let’s get into the product side of this PartyLite review…

PartyLite Reviews – The Products

PartyLite Candles

I have to say PartyLite candles are what they do best…

PartyLite offers regular one-wick candles, three wick jar candles (their signuture product), pillar candles and tealights not to mention all the PartyLite candles essentials as well.

They even sell “The Worlds Brighest Candle” called the GloLite candles.

When it comes to fragrances, they have no shortage here.

Their PartyLite Candles range from Red Apple, Black Currant, and Sunset Woods.

On top of that, they have seasonal fragrances like Spiced Pumpkin, Peppermint Snowflake, and Mistletoe.

The price range is pretty fair as well…

They are a little more than Walmart or Target brands, but less than premium fragrance companies like Yankee Candle.

For example, the 3-Wick jars are $25.  Tealights are $11 for a dozen and their Unscented pillar candles go for anywhere between $15 to $25.

When I checked out their website, I couldn’t find out what makes their candles different than the cheaper Walmart and Target brands.

They do make some kind of attempt, but it’s very vague…

Maybe it’s because they use food-grade paraffin wax and don’t add any harmful ingredients.

The wick itself is pure cotton so it doesn’t create any toxic smoke when you burn it.

I think their “stand out” product has to be their Flameless Frangrance” section.

On top of that, they sell Scent Plus melts with ScentGlow Warmers as well as SmartScents Fragrance Sticks and room sprays (…kind of like Scentsy).

Now you know about the products, let’s take a look at the compensation plan next…

PartyLite Compensation Plan

To be honest, they are not very upfront about how their compensation plan is structured (3)…

What I do know is Party hosts get a combination of host credit and half-price items as long as they sell at least $200 worth of products.

These credits range from $50 for hosts that made $200 in sales to $250 for hosts that make over $1000 in sales.

To become a consultant, you must purchase something called a Starter Kit that will run you $99.

This comes with a few products like 3-wick candles to tealights to warmers and some samples of other products.

If you can host a party and make at least $350, then you Start Kit fee of $99 is waived.

Overall the commissions on sales are 25%, nothing crazy…

You can however get bonuses up to $50% on your directly sponsored members on their first month of sales and 7% commissions on your downline members, and 5 to 7% bonuses on personal sales over $2300, which makes the compensation plan not so bad.

This is what a host party looks like just so you know:

Alright now the moment you have been waiting for in this PartyLite review…

The Verdict On PartyLite

So does the PartyLite scam exist?

Of course not!

PartyLite has been kicking since 1973 and the company it’s under (Blyth), is HUGELY successful.

How can you really fault a company like that?

Billions of revenue…

PartyLite being in 24 countries with 45,000 consultants…

You get the picture…

Only thing I am personally not a fan of is the home parties and I rather build a business online through systems that do the work for me…

I am sure their products are great or they won’t be in business.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my PartyLite review and if you have any questions, please leave them in the comments below…

My personal recommendation (totally optional of course)…

I have been in the network marketing field for a few years and have made well over 7 figure in this industry so I know what to look for when you join a company…
