There has been a lot of buzz about this company and people have requested me to write a review so they can make the right decision to join or not…

Chances are you have been approached by someone that asked you to join because it will change your life…

I personally love the whole network marketing concept, but I will reveal to you why it may not be the right fit for you…

It will all depend on what you want in the end…

So lets dive in and see what the company, the products and compensation plan is all about.

Melaleuca is the brain child of Frank L. Vandersloot who launched the company in September of 1985.

According to Forbes, Frank L. Vandersloot has an estimate net worth of $4.2 billion. (1)

Today, the company does over $1 billion in annual revenue and are in countries/continents like:

That’s quite the accomplishment if you ask me…

They are in the health and wellness industry with some Eco cleaning products etc.

They are pretty much like Amway and Herbalife in that sense.

They all have variety of products and a good track record.

When it comes to the number of products, Melaleuca is in no shortage…

One thing I did notice they don’t have an retail pricing on their website which I believe they should have.

They are a product based network marketing company after all…

Now that we have an idea on the products, let’s see what the compensation plan is all about…

Melaleuca – The Compensation Plan

All network marketing companies have a comp plan in place so you get paid when you sponsor someone in the business…

I was going to see if I could find a video done by Melaleuca but I couldn’t find anything…

It was kind of annoying searching through Youtube just to find people make fake videos of their comp plan…

Ah well…

There has been a lot of changes recently in their compensation plan, so rather me trying to explain it and make a mistake…

For the people who want the full break down, I will get into it below…

Melalueca compensation plan rewards affiliates to sell retail products to customers mainly.

In fact, customers are their main focus instead of just sponsoring new reps which is a good sign.

Melaleuca Ranks

I believe this has the largest affiliate rank bonuses I ever seen in any network marketing company.

You can qualify up to 49 different affilaite ranks.

Below, I will break it all down…

  • Product Advocate – enroll and maintain at least one active customer
  • Product Advocate II – enroll and maintain at least two active customers
  • Product Advocate III – enroll and maintain at least four active customers
  • Director – enroll and maintain eight active customers
  • Director 2 – enroll and maintain ten active customers and 1000 monthly GV
  • Director 3 – enroll and maintain eleven active customers, recruit and maintain at least one Director and generate and maintain at least 2500 monthly GV and 1000 PEG
  • Director 4 – enroll and maintain twelve active customers, recruit and maintain at least two Directors and generate and maintain at least 5000 monthly GV and 2500 PEG
  • Director 5 – enroll and maintain thirteen active customers, maintain at least two Directors and generate and maintain at least 7500 monthly GV and 5000 PEG
  • Director 6 – enroll and maintain fourteen active customers, recruit and maintain at least three Directors and generate and maintain at least 10,000 monthly GV and 7500 PEG

  • Senior Director 2 – maintain twenty active customers, maintain at least five Directors and generate and maintain at least 22,500 monthly GV and 20,000 PEG

Direct Commissions For Retail

Melaleuca and earn 50% commission on orders placed by customers and sponsored members within a month of when the order is placed.

From the second month on, retail customers and sponsored members orders are paid based on how many active customers you have:

  • 1 to 7 active customers = 7% retail commission rate
  • 8 to 19 active customers = 14% retail commission rate
  • 20 or more active customers = 20% retail commission rate

So does the Melaleuca scam exist?

Of Course Not!

This network marketing company has been going strong since 1985 and they got one thing right…

They focus more on retail customers and sponsoring new reps which is pretty awesome.

I never seen a compensation plan geared so much towards retail sales before, but I guess that what you can expect from a 30+ year old company.

Personally, the best thing you can do is test out the products yourself and see how you like them.

From there you can make the decision to join or not based on your experience.

Let’s face it, it’s hard to sell something you don’t believe in right?
