Juice Plus Review – Legit Business & Products or Scam?

Hey, welcome to my Juice Plus review!

Chances are you have been approached by a Juice Plus distributor that pitched you this deal…

I have been there before no worries.

Now you are on this blog post because you just want to make sure this company is legit before you decide to join.

I want to just say…

You came to the right place because in this blog post I am going to walk you through the entire company so you can make the right decision…

All I ask is you PAY attention and read this to the end.

Juice Plus Review – What is it?

Juice plus review

In a nut shell, Juice Plus is a MLM or Network Marketing company with a kind of multivitamin as it’s main product line…

There is a ton of “Cure All” hype surrounding Juice Plus which I don’t believe…yet at least.

There will also be some big challenges actually selling this product using hype and other deceptive marketing tactics.

But I don’t blame Juice Plus for that, the entire health industry is to blame with bogus claims…

Alright let’s keep moving forward and see what the products claim to do…

Juice Plus Company History

The company was founded back in 1970 as National Safety Associates by a man named James Martin.

National Safety Associates started out by selling fire directors (smoke alarms) and air and water purifiers through direct sales.

In 1993, Juice Plus was added as a product line within NSA (National Safety Associates).

After some time, Juice Plus just became it’s own MLM company because of it’s popularity.

Juice Plus Reviews – The Product Breakdown

Juice Plus products

First let’s take a look at the negative side…

I am going to be straight forward and come out right away and say most of the claims made by Juice Plus are not credible at all.

Many of the articles that are showing studies about the benefits of JuicePlus are FUNDED by them…

They also fail to actually list the side effects of taking their supplements and people won’t really know them until it happens to them…

I wrote another review on a company called Level Thrive where they were making similar claims, but then I saw the truth in the comments sections of all the side effects people were having…

Not a good way to start things.

Then you have some snake-oil-like claims from consumers like:

  • feeling better
  • having more energy
  • getting rid of arthritis
  • having clearer skin
  • sleeping better
  • not getting colds
  • transforming to superman… Okay I made that one up lol.

Okay I want you to pay close attention to this…

Don’t you notice those claims are like every other health product based network marketing company out there?

Seriously, why isn’t the world cured yet because of all these positive claims lol.

Alright, let’s take a look at the positive…

We do live in a busy world where sometimes don’t get the right nutrition through consuming food…

I do believe in taking a multivitamin to supplement the lack of nutrients you are getting.

So I can’t say taking a daily Juice Plus pull or gummy is any different.

So nothing wrong with supplementing because a lot of us need that…

BUT…

Don’t make bogus claims that the product cured you of all the diseases you had…

And if you are feeling better, it’s probably because you were lacking something in your body and any vitamin could have helped…

Remember, your BODY is what cures you but it needs the right nutrients for it to happen.

Now let’s take a look at their business opportunity…

Juice Plus Compensation Plan

The cost to join is $50 which isn’t too bad and there is no requirement to participate in the most basic level.

Now instead of me trying to explain the compensation plan, why not let JUICE PLUS do it?

Before you watch this video…

I want to let you know I do NOT endorse the video, it’s for educational purposes only.

Now if you don’t want to watch the video, I will write it down as well…

Juice Plus+ compensation plan has a unilevel structure combined with a generational backend.

There are performance based bonuses as well.

Now the moment you have been waiting for inside of this Juice Plus review…

Verdict On Juice Plus

Juice Plus Scam doesn’t exist…

The company has been in business for a VERY long time and I am sure it will continue to do well…

Only concern I have is the product health claims members are making because let’s face it…

The FDA doesn’t like that and can get a company shut down or fined.

Even though FDA approves drugs and then recalled after a year (Because they messed up), you can really see who runs them 🙂

Anyway, that’s a topic for another time…

Overall, I give this company the following rating:

I hope you enjoyed my Juice Plus review and if you have any questions, please leave them in the comments below…

My gf has genuinely lost 3 stone using juiceplus in the past 4 months. This is without going to a gymn and just replacing lunches with a milkshake. The reason people get evangelical about it is because it works given a chance.

    Common Sense. - July 7, 2017

I am not questioning quality, IT IS QUANTITY that I am interested in. But lets look at the product. I am not questioning quality compared to fresh produce. How much fresh fruit and veg goes into each capsule.
Keep in mind folks that a milligram is very small
There is 1,000 milligrams in a gram and 1,000 grams in a Kilogram

As written on the Juice Plus containers

Each FRUIT BLEND capsule contains 531.6 Milligrams of powdered fruit

    which is

44.2% powdered apple, (Now that is almost half apple powder.)

    17.8% powdered orange ,

0.9% powdered lemon, (A pin head full.)

0.9% powdered grapefruit , (A pin head full.)

    3.3% powdered pineapple,

    13.1% powdered cranberry,

    2.8% powdered papaya,

0.9% powdered prune, (A pin head full.)

0.9% powdered date, (A pin head full.)

    8.4% powdered beetroot,

    2.6% powdered peach,

    9.4% powdered cherry.

Each VEGETABLE BLEND Capsule contains 556.5 Milligrams of powdered vegetables.

    which is

35.3% powdered Carrot, (Over a third in each capsule is carrot.)

    24.2% powdered parsley,

    11.1% powdered Broccoli,

    1.8% powdered Cabbage,

    1.1% powdered Kale,

    8.9% powdered spinach,

    3.6% powdered Tomato,

    1.8% powdered beetroot,

    1.8% powdered rice,

    1.8% powdered oats,

    2.6% powdered garlic ,

    2.6% powdered Spirulina.

2 capsules of FRUIT BLEND is 1063.2 Milligrams

2 capsules of VEGETABLE BLEND is 1113 Milligrams.

So the 4 daily capsules have 2176.2 Milligrams of powder. They say fruit and vegetables are around 90 percent water when fresh and whole.
So if 2,176.2 milligrams in 4 daily capsules

is the 10 percent, add 9 times 2176.2 as the water content, is 19,585.8 milligrams of water add the 2176.2 of powder. Original whole fresh fruit and vegetables weight was 21,762 milligrams or

21.7 GRAMS of fresh whole fruit and vegetables.
Got that ??? equal to 21.7 GRAMS of fresh whole fruit and vegetables.

Water weighs 1000 milligrams per milliliter. So close enough to 20 Ml of water taken out of fresh fruit and vegetables when pulped and Dried to put into 4 capsules.
    Pretty simple

So we can safely say that the 2176.2 Mg of powder and the 19,585.8 Mg of water shows us how much FRESH FRUIT AND VEGETABLES goes into 4 daily capsules.

2176.2 Mg of powder and 19585.8 Mg of water equates to 21,762 milligrams or (21.7 GRAMS) of fresh whole fruit and vegetables There is 1,000 Mg in a gram

So 21.7 GRAMS of FRESH FRUIT AND VEG is used to go in a daily dose of 4 capsules.

Nutritionists say. The “five a day” rule should be doubled to 10 pieces of fruit and vegetables, a major study has said as it found that increasing consumption dramatically decreases the chance of

disease. Eating 800 grams of fruit and vegetables a day can reduce a person’s chance of having a stroke by a third, while the risk of heart disease can drop by around 24 per cent.

It may also help stave off cardiovascular disease and cancer, while the study found that if everyone followed the new rule nearly 8 million premature deaths could be prevented worldwide.
    OK READ ON.
Lets compare 4 Juice Plus capsules from 21.7 GRAMS of FRESH FRUIT AND VEG. to the 800 GRAMS recommended…
Seems Juice plus is a whopping 778.3 GRAMS SHORT.

Lets compare it to the ORIGINAL 400 GRAMS recommended for a 2,000 calorie diet. 21.7 GRAMS FROM 400 GRAMS
    IS 338.3 GRAMS SHORT.

So what is the percentage of Juice Plus to the standard recommended daily intake of 400 grams.?
It is 5.425 percent. Near enough to ONLY 5.5 percent of daily requirements.

Where the other 94.5 PERCENT comes from is up to the user.

To see how much fresh fruit and veg is in J.P before it is dried after pulping. Empty the 4 daily capsules onto a small plate, mix 20 ml of water with it.

That will show you how much pulped fresh fruit and veg goes into the 4 capsules. One other thing is that FRUIT BLEND is a whopping 44.2% powdered APPLE . Almost half apple

and VEGETABLE BLEND is 35.3% CARROT. A THIRD CARROT. See above for percentages of all, some are hardly measurable. less than 1% of powder for lemon grapefruit, prune, date .

IN SHORT IF FRESH WHOLE FRUIT AND VEG AVERAGE 90 PERCENT WATER. AND THERE IS ONE TENTH POWDER. 4 daily capsules have 2,176.2 Milligrams of powder.

10 TIMES 2,176.2 Milligrams IS 21,762 MILLIGRAMS 1000 MG IN A GRAM. SO 21.7 GRAMS OF FRESH WHOLE FRUIT AND VEG POWDERED AND PUT IN 4 CAPSULES

TIP THE CONTENTS OF 4 CAPSULES INTO A GLASS. WITH 20 ML OF WATER, MIX WELL. YOU HAVE THE EXACT AMOUNT OF ORIGINAL FRESH WHOLE FRUIT AND VEG JUICE THAT WAS DRIED AND PUT INTO CAPSULES.
THAT WAS USED TO MAKE 4 JUICE PLUS CAPSULES. 5.425 GRAMS OF FRESH WHOLE FRUIT AND VEGETABLES FOR 66 CENTS PER CAPSULE RETAIL.

THERE IS 1,000 GRAMS IN A KILOGRAM. 5.425 GRAMS INTO 1,000 GRAMS IS 184 TIMES AT 66 CENTS IS $121.65 PER KILOGRAM.
IF IT WERE FRESH WHOLE FRUIT.

With Juice plus advertising one would be led to believe that there is much much more fruit and veg in those capsules.

We feel it should be labeled as the percentage it is of daily requirements.

In their advertising they proudly announce that Juice Plus is approved by the TGA. In contents yes. They pass. But not the quantity.
No there is no magic ingredients in Juice plus. It is simply juiced fruit, veg. Then dried and put into capsules.

A very expensive way to get just 5.5 percent of daily requirements.

7 weeks in 17lbs down. I genuinely feel so much better and fully believe it’s because of juice plus. The lifestyle change has really helped me figure out what I should be eating and what to avoid. There is lots of genuine health benefits I’ve achieved and it’s partly juice plus and partly changing what I put into my body. I had an intolerance to eggs for as long as I can remember, 2 weeks into juice plus lifestyle change and I can eat eggs haa…love it

Bioavailability plays a MASSIVE part in this. Most if not all multivitamins are not and therefore you either excrete them via urine or faeces, you are literally flushing them down your toilet. The people making the “claims” are the people who are and have taken the products or their distributer sharing their stories.
I dont think it’s fair to knock something till you have tried it. We all need to be more curious rather than judgemental, especially when we’ve not tried for ourselves.
And….. All companies have to make money

I am a little ticked off that people randomly friend request me acting like the know me only to have it be a scam for this product. If it is as great as they say, you should not have to be tricking people on social media

As a former distributor I must tell you, that all these positive sounding claims are the typical and well trained phrases, that you learn as a seller of this company to convince or brainwash people. But believe me: It’s a fake game!
Recently I discovered the website of the JUICEPLUS-DOCTORS-CRITICS and they confirm everything I have experienced. These doctors and journalists seem to be very good informed and made a good research.
So, before buying these products read on the website under
    http://www.JUICEPLUS-DOCTORS-CRITICS.info
(unfortunately only partly translated into English) and avoid damaging your health!!!

..hi Jesse, many thanks for your review! I was randomly approached by a Juice Plus team leader on Facebook and I wasn’t quite sure if he wanted me to join or just sell me products lol.. I’m always very skeptical and it’s not a bad thing. Afterall, there are so many scams and people you can’t trust these days. I did my own research and if I wanted to try any of the products I would choose to buy them myself! The group he added me to was predominately about customers who had lost weight. If it works for people I’m not in a position to judge but I myself lost a stone just watching my calorie intake and making better, more informed choices when buying food, i.e. reading the nutritional information lol☺ I also enjoy eating fruit and vegetables so I’m not sure I would wish to take it in a product form…..but that is a personal choice. So the bottomline, would I try it? Of course, maybe as a trial, but it would be on MY terms! Thanks again for the information, always good to do research before trying anything new. Best wishes☺

I purchased a juice plus franchise as a distributor and the things I was told to do by a so called mentor simply break all nutritional guidelines. I was told to advise customers to take less shake recommended scoops so they last longer and this seem more value for money which in turn does lead to weight loss but at the detriment of people’s health. I was also advised that your not allowed to sell on buy and sell sites such as eBay but the top earners in the country do and are easily found on these sites yet are still operating which shows the company turn a blind eye when profit dictates. I have just had my fanchise shut down for questioning these things so now will consider the legalities of a company selling a franchise but being able to shut it down with now written reason. In a nut shell this company can take your money then shut the franchise down with no explaination or warning. Not a great experience and would warn others to be aware

I want to get out i tried to cancel my subscription but it wouldnt let me … Its a actual scam. Also why sell vitamins etc at starting price $45. These girls should be ashamed of themselved

Who did you order through? One thing I will give this company credit for is their customer service. You can cancel at anytime! They even send the shipping label to you, so you can send it back at their cost. If you bought it through a rep maybe it is them trying to save a sale, try calling head office, never a questioned asked. They only sell it in four month subscriptions cause its more convenient for people, its typically something you want to keep taking. That sucks that you feel like its a scam, but I really think its probably the person you bought from unfortunately. Were in Canada though. Good luck.

Waste of money from a dodgy pyramid scheme, avoid like the plauge
It’s a vitamin pill as it’s just basically the same but cheaper.
I’ll no doubt be called uneducated and to go and do my research, well I’m not uneducated, I’m in a better job than one selling vitamins and expensive shakes on Facebook and I have researched it, intensly, online, talking to reps and ex-reps, who left not because they failed, but because they morally couldn’t be associated with such a shady company, I’ve read both the good and bad about it. Repa seem to only see the good and many come across as totally brainwashed, they think they’ll make millions when in fact less than 5% do make any worthwhile money in pyramid schemes, which this is without a doubt, they’ll say It’s not, they do it because they want to help people, bullshit, they wouldn’t be selling overpriced crap if they really wanted to help people, or constantly asking anyone to join their team, they want to make money from you selling it too, then they can sit in their lazy arses pretending they’re rich, when in fact their main job pays the bill.
As for the certificates, great incentive to get the braindead reps thinking they’re now CEOs at their own franchise 😂
It’s a bit fat con and wouldn’t be as sucessful as it is if it wasn’t based on testimonies by reps, who make out like it cures practically everything, any good effects are down to the individuals change in eating, exercise and maybe they were lacking in a nutrient, overall you could do the same without taking these “magic” beans. The whole package is sold on lies, it’s a shame so many decent people have been taken in by this, it’s really like a cult.
Save your money and avoid this rubbish

I began taking the capsules 5 days ago so I’ll see how I’m really feeling/responding to this choice.
I understand the claims could be hyped up to make sales/money and there’s nothing wrong with earning money but if it’s truly MLM based and the ‘top guys’ are being supported financially by the ‘underlings’ then it will fail as so many others have.
I’ll do my best to keep my eye on the ball and report back

Great site. I purchased the diet shakes from a distributor here in NZ. Well within a week I was being asked to.be a distributor. Coming from a medical background I was dubious and worried about claims being made, and recommendations as to other supplements to take. Then FB friends were targeted, and final straw came, when after a number of us commented on a testimonial she published, showing before and after weight loss pictures. I also, along with another poster asked if the person in the picture had had surgery. I later found out the picture comes from a stock set sellers use for promotion. Next thing I receive a vicious tirade via messenger saying how i’m not qualified to make statements about the appearance of this person or ask questions like I did. We asked how she dealt with massive weight loss and loose skin. Now I’m thinking a raw nerve was hit and maybe what we are seeing ready isn’t genuine, would love to know if this is the case with the testimonial pictures

LET’S COMPARE 4 Juice Plus capsules from 21.7 GRAMS of FRESH FRUIT AND VEG. to the 800 GRAMS recommended Seems Juice plus is 778.3 GRAMS SHORT.!!!!!! Lets compare it to the ORIGINAL 400 GRAMS recommended for a 2,000 calorie diet. 21.7 GRAMS FROM 400 GRAMS IS 338.3 GRAMS SHORT. So what is the percentage of Juice Plus to the standard recommended daily intake of 400 grams.? It is 5.5 percent. ONLY 5.5 percent of daily requirements. Where the other 94.5 PERCENT comes from is up to the user. To see how much fresh fruit and veg is in J.P before it is dried after juicing. Empty the 4 daily capsules onto a small plate, mix 20 ml of water with it. That will show you how much juiced fresh fruit and veg goes into the 4 capsules. One other thing is that FRUIT BLEND is a whopping 44.2% powdered APPLE . Almost half apple and VEGETABLE BLEND is 35.3% CARROT. Like anything people are to fixated on what could happen and don’t allow your self to change.
JP has many claims but if its helping people lose weight because they are believing the hype then thats great because its the mind set that needs changing first.

It is a scam how they keep sending you products you do not want and charging you for them. When you send them back they “Don’t receive them” and refuse to give you a refund.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
