Last Updated: August 5, 2016. You have probably have been reading some Arbonne reviews on the internet, but you soon realize a lot of them are biased.
In other words, most of them are done by distributors and they do not go over any of the cons.
So unlike all those Arbonne reviews on the internet, I am going to dig in and don’t hold anything back. Once you pay attention and read this blog post all the way through, you will have the right information to make the right decision.
First let’s look at the actual company…

After doing some research, they have TONS of products. If I listed them all here, it would fill up the entire article. All you have to know is that the Arbonne products are clean, pure and safe.
Heck, they are even Vegan certified and are completely free of harmful ingredients that could put serious damage to your health in the long run.
All of Arbonne personal line of products are all FREE from…

Arbonne International Opportunity Review
Like any network marketing company or business opportunity, the name of the name of the game is to sell products and sponsor people into your business so you can leverage their efforts. There are three packages to choose from:
1. Client –
This just means you are a customer and purchasing products at retail.
2. Preferred Client –
The cost to join this level is $20 and you get a 20% discount off retail.
3. Independent Consultant –
The cost is $79 for this starter kit, but now you get a 35% discount off retail. Plus, you now can get paid in their compensation plan. This is the level you need to be at if you want to build this business.
Arbonne Reviews – Compensation Plan
The best resource I could get for you was their actual company presentation. Watch this video all the way to the end to understand their comp plan properly.
I know a lot of the Arbonne reviews out there don’t go in this detail, but I just wanted to give you the right information like I said in the beginning of the blog post…Now, I am going to reveal to you the biggest problem with this company next…so pay attention and read it carefully. It could be the difference between failing and succeeding…
Arbonne Scam – is that the truth?
The answer to that question is…. NO! Arbonne scam doesn’t exist, it’s made up with people that fail because they believe by signing up they will become rich over night. THAT is the biggest issue….
You can’t just start a mlm business thinking your going to do amazing without learning the skill sets you need to recruit and build a business. That’s like me trying to become a doctor after high school with no further education…That’s just plain mad!

the MLM business… it’s interesting 🙂
Hey Gabinet,
I am glad you found it interesting lol.
Thanks for the information. I am considering becoming involved in the company and was looking for a review. I feel you were honest. ” There is no such thing as a free lunch. ” so it makes sense that you get out what you put in.
Hello, I have recently signed up to be a consultant and honestly my whole point of view was if i won’t use it noone i know would use it. BUT after i started using small amounts of their products and noticed a huge difference in how i felt, at that moment i decided to branch out and help people i didnt know, friends and family build their own opinion on the product.
Anyway i guess all im saying is that Arbonne helped build my confidence, so maybe it could help build other peoples too. its worth looking in to.
Heads up for anyone who wants to join Arbonne. Don’t! The company is not one of integrity. I joined and although I did not make any money, (not arbonnes fault, that is not my concern about the ‘scam’ the scam is that they lie to you. I was pursuing my business for about 6 months before I realize thy it wasn’t a good fit for me, part of my frustrations were that nearly every party there was an item someone ordere that was out of stock and they wouldn’t back order. I would wait on hold with cusomer aervice dor 20 minutes usually and I hated having to contact customers and ask them if they’d like to choose something different and lost sales because often times they didn’t. When my one year had passed I contacted my up line to see if I needed to do anything to terminate my consultant status because I isn’t want to pay the rene fee. She told me at 1yr my contract was up and I didn’t have to do anything. She as wrong (she is now a NVP I believe…so she was already a Mercedes driver then…not a newby). I guess my contract somehow got auto renewed without my knowing, and I still was a consultant. I called customer service and the representtive could not grasp why I wanted to terminate and loose my discount, and said I had to print off a form and FAX it to the home office. FAX…for real! What Stone Age so we live in? Then around my 1 year I got a ‘lead’ through my website of a potential customer…scam. At the end if my second year, and I got FOUR emails within an hour that there are prospective a contacting me and that I should login to see them. Ok if that isn’t a scam to try to get me to sign on for another year then what is?? Poor people who pay each yet to keep consultant status because I couldnt seem I get rid of it. Arbonne…I like your products..a lot, but I HATE your company. I have since joined another direct sales company, made $1000 last year, and am loving it. This is exactly what I was looking for in Arbonne and I found it with an amazing new company.
Which other company did you choose?
Amber, what’s the name of the other direct sales company?
What makes you think that the people contacting you thru the internet were from Arbonne? There are SOOO many scam artists out there….. its only common sense to be leary of a cold email out of the blue. It’s not Arbonnes fault
May I ask what company you signed with? I’m weighing my options and I love to hear about successes with companies
You are so full of lies! Clearly just from another company whose jealous of what Arbonne has. So many try tear us down and right bogus reviews!!’ Ha! We will be your #1 direct marketing company based on ethics and integrity in the end.
This is what is wrong with you people! It’s like some sort of cult! And how dare anyone critisize the company you work for. It’s not lies, it is what it is, and perhaps works for people like you, but not so much for many others. Get over yourself and stop being so aggressive. Everyone is entitled to thier own opinion.
I had a bad experience with something called plexus. I gave my opinion and my symptoms but they sales people would get defensive. I’m going to to speak the truth and usually don’t hold back. And I tried canceling my membership with them and spent hours on hold. I’m going yo try arbonne and get it a chance. Not going to sell it but try a product or 2. It’s all about MAKING money. That’s why it’s so expensive. Everyone makes a cut on a sale. I can’t imagine what the product actually costs.
What rubbish. Those reviews aren’t fake at all, it’s a direct marketing company. What more do you need to know? All you read is a list of justifications for why what they do is okay- yes yes yes we’ve heard it all before. Honestly if you are good enough to make $5k a month from our poor friends and colleagues then you are worth more than that in a proper sales job. 5k a month is paltry in sales. If you aren’t on 6 figures you are in the wrong role if you’re that good! And 9-5 is actually better than weekend and evenings thanks. Funny how that’s always pitched as the ultimate.
I’m a consultant with Arbonne and have to say…I believe it has a lot to do with the team you are on and your upline. I started in September 2016 and have loved every minute of it! I love the products and my team…everyone is super supportive and willing to help whenever I have a question…we help each other out with pick ups at the head office and have multiple Facebook groups for questions and encouragement!!
I totally agree. It’s a bs scam scheme to sign up for. There are a few products that are good, but most, are not worth their price, especially the makeup range. They just strong arm you into spending nessesary money and there is a really snobby cliquey attitude. I got out, but wish I hadn’t foolishly signed up and lost money and a bit of my self respect. Don’t but into it! There are better organisations with better products and set ups out there!
I totally agree, not a company of integrity.
Hi thanks for this reveiw! I am currently an Arbonne consultant here in Australia.. and I LOVE the products and the business- ive only been doing it for a week! lol
It is not about the money for me, I truly believe in the products and the business.. it is inspiring and encouraging- A real life transformation! 🙂
Renee,
Glad you are enjoying Arbonne 🙂
Hi!
A friend of mine approached me to become an Arbonne consultant but I truly don’t know if I can trust it. I found your article really interesting but I am still questionning myself. I mean … I don’t use products…. I use coconut oil, avocado oil ….and cie..
I don’t want the company to fool me. My friend enjoyed the experience!
What’s the best decision?
thank you!
Hey Anna,
Only you can make that decision, there is no best 🙂
I can tell you first-hand that the products work I have been doing the detox program for over 2 months now and have lost over 20 pounds and I feel amazing. I had a friend who introduced me to the detox program who did alot of research before joining herself. I signed up as a consultant and I don’t regret it once since I’ve done it. Not sure why peopl are complaining about the customer service at Arbonne, I have not had any issues in dealing with customer service. I’ve had to call on several occasions due to the fact that I was having issues on my computer with orders. Every time I’ve called they were friendly and very eager to help me with any questions I had. I have gotten a lot of good feedback regarding the products from this company. I have a lot of friends and family that are the detoxing or have finished and I have to be honest I have yet to hear anyone dislike the product or the company. Although I’m not in it to make a lot of money I stand by their product because I have tried them and they do work. I find it discerning that a lot of people are bad-mouthing Arbonne it’s a great company with a lot of great people working for it. I have had nothing but positive results in signing up for the program. Before this detox, nothing I tried got rid of the belly bloat and the stubborn weight gain untill Arbonne. I plan on using their products because I know first hand that it works!! just my thoughts
Best decision ever becoming an Arbonne Independent Consultant. Where has it been all my life. It took me just over 3 months to get to District Manager which is the first level of success. I’m now looking to promote to Area Manager and hope to quit my corporate job in less than a year. Arbonne has given me hope. I CAN have the life that I want. Flexibility to fit my work around my life, not the other way around. Anyone who hasn’t made money in this system is not working it enough. It’s not hard work! You just have to commit time to money-making activity, and to your personal development. The rest just comes as you progress and learn. Loving the products too. I’ve never felt and looked so good, even if I do say so myself. I’ve your sitting on the fence about starting your own Arbonne business… Just GO FOR IT!! What have you got to lose?? £56 start up fee?? You’ve got SO much more to gain. Go get it!!
I was just introduced by a regional manager about Arbonne and we spoke about joining. It is true that the leaders only give you inspiring information and definatelt skip over the specifics. I think the company wants to make you BELIEVE in Arbonne almost like believing in God. I say it because those who are convinced it works are the ones who admire the idea of the product. When you go to do presentations you want to always look good, so you start dressing up for and think you can change the world. That idea does appeal to many, i am not so sure about getting paid.
This company is a total scam! I have never had to deal with such a poor company. They sold me a supposed ready-made software, which I paid and then they assigned a supposed team member, which was really a very incompetent person in softwares and all he did was stall and stall the project. There scam is to let you get so frustrated with such delays that they really never have to deliver the product. They never deliver what they promise! Don’t fall into their scam, BUYERS BE CAREFUL!!!
Anna: you can’t represent any business if you don’t use the products. MLM’s are actually the way to go it you believe in the products and the culture.
I’m an Arbonne independent consultant and have been for 2 yrs. My house & family is Arbonnized however I do still use and encourage other products depending on need or issue. To be successful one must look at the company the represent as a way to truly connect and build solid relationships with others. Yes, we all want to make $$, but at the the of the day, if you are not helping anyone then the business isn’t your vehicle to success. Would you join someone who doesn’t eat at their own restaurant? Who doesn’t drink coffee at their own coffee shop?? I know I wouldn’t
I’ve noticed a lot of the negative comments on here are very poorly written (misspelled words, wrong info, etc). Now don’t get me wrong I am horrible when it comes to spelling, but it just seems they may be coming from non Arbonne personnel (one talks about ready made software… there is no software, so not sure what they are talking about. Just my opinion 🙂 Anyways I myself am a consultant, I signed up strictly for the discount. I had been looking for a protein powder, a friend from high school contacted me and it worked. I researched the company before I joined and was happy with it. I do not go out and try and sell anything, I simply share it with my friends and family, the same way I would tell them about a good restaurant. I will give out samples because hey, who doesn’t like free stuff and if they like it and it works for them, that’s awesome! I have never made much more than $100 but I am able to get highly discounted products and make a few bucks on the side all because I shared my love for the products with friends and family. I have been with them a couple years now (can’t remember exactly, maybe 2014?) but so far I like them and plan to continue using and sharing their products. At the end of the day it is MLM company, you do have to work at it if you want to make money. You aren’t going to get rich instantly. They sell products you either like them or you don’t, it’s that simple.
Hey Ashley,
I agree, every network marketing company requires work and you have to think like a business person to succeed in them.
Trust me. Your “friends and family” are humouring you. Leave them alone. Truly.
Hi, I’m a preferred client and was casually looking through reviews and came across this blog, I recently purchased the Anti Ageing Skincare line with intensive moisture and my skin is absolutely in love with it it gives me a natural and healthy glow! And I also got the Genius Pads which I think should be renamed to Magic Pads lol..they are just AMAZING 🙂 and I also use the body scrub with lemon oil in it and it refreshes my skin instantly!
Arbonne products work so good 🙂
I have extremely sensitive skin. I have seen a lot of negative and positive reviews on this company and products. Should it be safe for me to use their products?
You can test small on your skin to see if works.
I have been an Arbonne consultant for a couple years now and I love it! I love the company and what it stands for! I love the products and how they have made me look and feel! I absolutely love the people and the choices it has helped me make! Thanks for the article!! 😍😍
Thanks for coming by!
I LOVE Arbonne and everything it stands for. I believe in the products and the company. They truly help ppl and they really care! I’ve never witnessed such giving and charitable ppl in my lifel!! There truly is not another company like us and I’m so so excited to see what the future for Arbonne holds!!
I have heard so many good things about the products, but I think they are super exspensive for the average consumer. Is there a minthly minimum purchase with this company? I am thinking about signing up but not sure I can even afford their products.
Maybe the best thing to do is actually try a product and see if you like it.
My friend actually sells the products and I know that they seem expensive so you can become a preferred client and save 20% on your purchases for a $20 fee, or become and independent consultant and save 35% on purchases for $79. If you choose to become an independent consultant, you can also make a business out of it, but if nothing else you will always save 35%. There is a renewal fee of $30 per year but that only comes into play if you or your friends aren’t buying anything.
As far as sitting and waiting for customer care and not being able to cancel, I call bull. With any company there may be a wait time and of course they are going to try to maintain you as a customer, but I doubt that a long wait time would truly deter someone hell-bent on cancelling. Everyone also knows that all you have to do is call your bank. Try not to blame others for your laziness or inability to handle situations like an informed consumer.
Just as any other company or team you are planning to join, do your due diligence in researching the company and their products as well as, most importantly, their mission. You have to believe in something to promote it; if something motivates you, it will motivate others if you pass along the information in a moving way.
Hi. There is NO monthly minimum purchase. I agree with Jesse, I think the best research you can do is to try it out for yourself. There is a 45 day money back garauntee. So, if it’s not for you, you’re able to get refunded. Decide you love the products? You’re going to probably tell people about them, because let’s face it, we do that on the daily. We love telling the people we love about good stuff right? A good restaurant to try, a good movie we’ve seen, etc. Hope this helps at least a little bit 🙂
Thank you for the comment.
Hello everyone,
I would like to join this company but I am reading all reviews and they are 80% ok 20% consultant are not really happy. I am from Glasgow. I would like to join it & I would find some people or friends etc to build good and strong team but there is but ? I am confident person, bubbly , chatty -but Arbonne cosmetic is a bit expensive and I my friends can’t afford it. I would like to give a try as one day I can do my own business in my own country but Arbonne is only in Poland at the moment . I wish there were more oportunity in different countries like Czech or Slovakia.
Hi Anna, I was just wondering if you ended up joining? I am also in Glasgow and researching the company at the moment 🙂
Arbonne is in 7 (soon to be 8) different countries. From the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Poland, Taiwan, New Zealand and soon, Germany. They plan to continue to grow globally. Hope this helps.
I have been using Arbonne products for around 10 months. Yes, they are expensive compared to high street brands, but not compared to department store. So many people have commented on how good my skin looks. I decided to become an Arbonne Consultant primarily so I could get the bigger discount. However, I am dabbling on the selling and recruitment side and am loving it. The team, the girl who introduced me, Facebook group etc have been amazing and so supportive. I have now received a couple of cheques, not huge, but a nice wee bonus. I can now see the momentum building and my Arbonne business growing. It is not a get quick rich scheme but I can see it does work with effort and time. I am loving the product and fun I am having with this and would recommend.
Hey Nicola,
Thanks for commenting 🙂
Hi,
I am on my second month as Arbonne consultant. I have joined purely because I was totally blown away by the products and my skin improved dramatically. The lady who introduced me to Arbonne started to kind of push me to buy and she kept texting me if I’ve placed my order. She started to really piss me off and if I didn’t love the products I would have definitely stopped, but instead I just told her to stop nagging me and let me do it my way as she started to say I should start recruiting people for my team blah blah blah. (She is aiming for the white Mercedes 🙄) but for me joining Arbonne was more than about the sales and getting people to join my team- for now anyway… I know that some consultants have ruined friendships over their selling skills and that is not what I want my business to be like. Yes Arbonne products are pricey, but they worked for me and the few friends that I have so far they loved the products I’ve given them to try. My friends said they will buy from me, but they haven’t bought anything yet and I just chosen not to bug them and push them to place the order because I don’t want them to feel pressured. I have a full time job and little free time therefore I do not want to be doing home parties and having people in my home. I wanted to ask any of you successful consultants how I can get some sales without nagging my friends and family to buy from me and without the home parties. I would like to find a perfect way through online selling. I am a little worried that I might not get any customers because in almost 2 months I didn’t managed to get a single sale. Maybe I am doing something wrong or not putting enough effort. Perhaps you could give some some advice 🙂
Thank you in advance.
x
Hey Joanna,
You just have to position yourself as a leader and brand yourself.
I’m just finishing up my first month as a consultant with Arbonne and so far so good. I’ve put some effort into building my business and I’ve done ok. I think with more effort this will be a great fit for me. Everybody is different and you have to believe in what you are selling. I love the products personally. Now, I probably wouldn’t do good at selling LuLaRoe, I think the clothing is adorable but not my style. You have to find what best fits you and go for it. Good luck to all the review readers, I hope you find your answers. Jesse, Thank you for posting your honest opinion of this company.
Thank you for writing!
Since Argonne launched where I live I have been “casually approached” by 3 people to purchase from them or try a sample. I’ve tried it- it’s pretty good. Not worth the $ and nothing I can’t get anyway.
Here’s the thing. Most people I know roll their eyes when they are approached. I *hate* the fake conversations “oh I haven’t seen you in ages you’re looking great… I bet you’d love what I’m selling!” It’s so phoney. In the background, be aware you are turning people off you completely even if they go ahead and buy that first time to keep the peace/friendship/”support” you.
It’s really tacky.
Well I am fairly new to my business and I am loving the learning I am doing by knowing and trying the products for myself. I am no expert but I intend to educate myself on a product I love and believe in so that others can look and feel amazing using Arbonne products. You don’t work it, it will fail you… if you expect money & fame over night well you are barking up the wrong tree. I Love Arbonne, I Love The Rewards, I Love The People & Most Of All The Way It Makes Me Feel <3
Word at Arbonne is that the executives have been preparing for a possible selloff, bankruptcy, or closure, or a bit of all 3.. it will start with the closing of the Calgary branch. Arbonne is a pyramid level marketing scam, I work for them so I should know. Arbonne has some good products, most of which you can find under generic brand labels at 1/10th of the price. Believe me or not, they have become a sad joke of a company (and a worse employer) the past year or so.. ask any employee that you are truly friends with – no employee that works at Arbonne is currently happy, and many important people have already begun to jump ship.. its a facade they are continually perpetuating as they’ve become a totally mismanaged mess that is going downhill fast. The VP and most of the executives should be fired for using company funds for their own pleasure i.e. kickbacks, embezzling, designer clothes/shoes/dresses, this list goes on. I would never invest a dollar in such a ponzi and tell all my friends to stay far far away. I am totally ashamed to tell people that I work for them and have been sending out resumes the past few months in the hopes of leaving the company and its horrible management as soon as possible. Feel free to check out the definition of an MLM on wikipedia, its a glossy term to blind people with nice fancy wording, frankly they are a pyramid scam, in the truest sense of the word. They pray on good people who want to make extra income, but who aren’t smart or driven enough to go about creating their own business. God help those who think otherwise, sadly you will find out the hard way.
Very interesting…
I’m just a preferred customer. I had awful cystic acne issues for years. I’m in my early 40’s and had never had nice skin since puberty. Arbonne RE9 has truly worked and fixed my skin. I may get a small break out here or there, but not multiple cystic ones like before. My skin also heals a lot quicker. I’m in love with the product that I might become a consultant just for the discount.
As to MLM, any mlm takes a lot of dedication to build a business. And its true, that you have believe and use and believe in the product you are selling. MLM isnt for me because I don’t like recruiting people or sales, but again I may join just for the discount. I only wish it was 50% discount like Mary Kay.
I have been contacted to join this company for online work. Supposed to talk to a rep today but have researched this company all morning. Needless to say. I can tell this isn’t for me after all. Thanks but no thanks.
